I don't believe IF machines can push out/pull in by themselves. Right-clicking it will open it. It is used to process silk touched ore such as coal, lapis, and diamonds into their respective item drops. When the player's hunger or saturation drops below full, the Meat Feeder will drain 400 mB of Liquid Meat and restore 1/2 shank.
